Coconut Shrimp
Ingredients
- 3 16-20 ct. Shrimp, peeled & deveined
- 1 egg beaten
- 1 cup milk
- 3 cup coconut flakes
- 2 cup flour
- 3 cup oil
- sweet & sour sauce (or your preferred dipping sauce!)
Instructions
- Mix together 1 egg and 1 cup of milk in a bowl.
- Dip shrimp in the flour, then egg-milk mixture, then in coconut flakes. Place on a tray and freeze for 1 hour.
- Place 3 cups of oil in a skillet and heat on medium heat for about 5 minutes.
- Place frozen shrimp in a pan and brown one side for about 4 minutes, turn shrimp over, and brown for another 4 minutes.
- Serve with sweet & sour sauce.
