
Baked Steelhead Trout with Honey Glaze
Ingredients
- 1 pound Steelhead Trout fillets
- ¼ cup butter
- 2 cloves garlic finely chopped
- 2 tbsp honey or maple syrup
- 2 tbsp brown sugar
- 2 tbsp rice vinegar (or cider)
- 2 tbsp Dijon mustard
- 2 tbsp soy sauce
Instructions
- Melt butter in small saucepan over low heat. Whisk in garlic, honey or maple syrup, brown sugar, rice vinegar or cider, Dijon mustard, and soy sauce. (Glaze will be enough for up to 2 pounds of fish).
- Place fish in center of a rectangle of foil. Pour glaze over the fish and fold the foil around the fish to form a packet.
- Preheat oven to 400℉.
- Bake for 15-20 minutes or until fish flakes easily with a fork.
