ADELPHIA SEAFOOD HOLDS THE TITLE OF WILSON IRON CHEF 2019

On Sunday March 24th Adelphia Seafood took part in the sixth annual Iron Chef Competition to raise money for  The Wilson Education Foundation.  A day filled with student musical performances, a silent auction, live auction, raffles and many samples from vendors both upstairs and downstairs at Wilson Area High School Gymnasium.

Adelphia Seafood takes pride in helping our local community whenever we can, especially the youth in our area.  Our Corporate chef and director of production and food safety Mike Martino along with  Craig Manser the Kitchen Production Supervisor lit the stage on Fire for the second year in a row. There were 4 key ingredients that were a secret until the day of the event. Pineapple, Caramel Candies, Butternut Squash and Pork.  The creation blew the judges away helping them repeat IRON CHEF WINNERS once again in 2019. The plate was a Polynesian Surf and Turf. A Macadamia nut crested Pork, Coconut Curry sauce, Salted Caramel butternut squash and pineapple fritter with Tuna Poke.

Winning the Peoples Choice award was an added value of excitement for Adelphia Seafood with our Mocha Dry Rubbed Bacon wrapped around shrimp drizzled with a cocoa sauce, each individual was able to vote on their favorite sample in the People’s Choice Award Category.

We would like to thank everyone for taking part in great community event!
