Join us the 16th Annual Souper Bowl
It’s that time of year again! Warm up from these bitter cold temps with Adelphia Seafood and many of the local restaurants at the Crowne Plaza for the 16th Annual Souper Bowl and let us help get you out of that winter funk! We will be there with some delicious soup samples including one made exclusively for this event. It is being held on Monday, January 29th from 5:30-7:30 p.m. at 1741 Papermill RoadWyomissing, PA.
Each attendee receives a handmade bowl crafted by individuals, students, community groups and professional local artists as well as soup samples and other goodies from local restaurants competing for the title of “Best Soup”, a peoples’ choice award. Tickets purchased in advance cost $30.00 per person and online registration closes at midnight on Sunday, January 28th. Tickets at the door will be $35.00 per person.
Wear your favorite team jersey or t-shirt to be entered to win door prizes. This event also includes a silent auction featuring pottery crafted by skilled local artisans.
A Preview Party will be held from 4:30-5:30 p.m. for the cost of $80.00 per person. This includes early admittance and doors open at 4:30 p.m. You will also receive your first pick of bowls, first taste of all the soups being offered and a meal of heavy hors d’oeurves created by the Hitching Post restaurant along with wine and beer. Tickets at the door for the Preview Party will cost $85.00.
All proceeds for this event benefit the Opportunity House of Reading.
